Re-doing the drive under my carport with gravel and permeable pavers. I knew I needed a plate compactor but I don’t have a truck and I wanted to do this at my pace rather than renting and be rushed and pay a delivery fee. I actually saved money buying my own.This machine is doing the trick. No problems so far. It’s compacting all the sand easily and quickly. Starts on first or second pull. I’ve used about 5 hours so far and when my project is done I’ll post pics! I’m glad I purchased this!Update: 2-5-2024 Re-did the other side of my driveway. It is 28’ long and 13’ wide and I used permeable pavers and pea gravel. Had to bust out the old driveway which was 3 yards of 70 year old concrete. Have used this machine for a total of around 10-15 hours and have had no trouble in the least. Still really powerful and a great purchase for a DIY’er. Have definitely got my moneys worth from this compactor and I’d buy this one again if I ever needed another.Very satisfied and happy customer!
