Ordered this mount specifically because of the good reviews and it is advertised as clearing an overhang. Our soffit on our roof is only about 8" and this mount does not even come close to clearing it. Not only does it not clear the soffit, but it also does not even work on the side of the exterior wall because the angle is not correct for the Gen3 dish. The dish is bigger than the arm clears too in order to achieve the necessary 20 degrees. (Yes I flipped the arm around to get more "extension".) Now I have to build an entire kickout feature on the side of the house to get this to work correctly.Side note: I am a network engineer and install enterprise equipment like this regularly. Massively disappointed with this misleading product.

The installation process is very simple, the instructions are clear and easy to understand, and you can complete it step by step without requiring additional professional tools or skills. The stand is designed to support pipe/pole adapters that allow for height and angle adjustment as needed, perfect for my installation needs.

It is rugged and durable. It holds our satellites correctly and will not move if installed correctly. It was easy to assemble and fit the purpose for which we purchased it.

Initially, I thought the metal design of the mounting bracket was superior to a plastic one.However, to secure the bracket to the gen3 dishy, you have to “screw” into the dishy, with only the included foam inserts to protect the device. How tight can I make the screws to secure it to the dishy without damaging the sensitive electronics inside? There are no specifications in the instructions to say how tight.Also as seen in the pictures, there was poor packaging and my instructions were literally ripped apart without any protection inside the box. It could have at least been folded up in a plastic bag to protect it from the other metal parts in the box from almost destroying it.There probably could have been a better way to secure the mounting bracket to the dishy with less risk of damage with the screws penetrating the insides, but then it would have cost more.

This Starlink bracket was super easy to set up and works perfectly. Assembly took only minutes, and it holds the dish securely, even in bad weather. Great value and highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable mounting option!
