These are made in China, but they are made to Starrett's usual level of quality. No issues or complaints with them. If you want Starrett quality but can't afford the made in USA ones, these will do.

Sadly Sterrett has opted to use offshore sources China and the quality between a China Starrett and an American Starrett are very much different

I purchased the Starrett 125 MEA caliper with the assumption it was manufactured in the USA. I have looked everwhere on this tool for where it was manufactured and found nothing. Is the quality there, is my question, or it manufactured from poor quality material off shore. I will not purchase anymore Starrett products.
