The 15 foot cables worked great. Never had any issues do to longer length and were very easy to plugin and use.

I currently have 2 of the 15ft variant these going from my dual 144hz GSYNC compatible monitors to the ASUS STRIX 2080Ti in my PC. The reason I have done this is because like MANY 2080ti's (moreso the after market ones), it does produce a decently noticeable coil whine. Most people wouldn't be bothered by it. I am, so I moved my PC under my desk in the corner of my room to alleviate the issue. Everything is working as it should. GSync, full refresh rate, no degradation in quality.Whether or not this actually lasts, we'll see. But as of last week this cable WAS on the VESA certified list on the official DisplayPort website, so we'll see. If anything changes, I'll update this review. But after a week, everything seems peachy.

I bought three of these to drive my 3 Asus ROG Swift PG279Q from my then 980Ti. Initially none of the cables would drive the monitors beyond 60hz. Returned them, then one of them would drive one monitor at 144hz but the other two wouldn't go above 60hz. Returned the two defective ones then got one that would drive at 144hz and the other wouldn't go beyond 85hz. Finally replaced the last one and it was able to achieve the rated 144hz. Very disappointed I had to go through the return cycle multiple times. They did eventually make it right, but it took a long time.

As stated in the headline, this works perfectly with a high refresh rate monitor! Freesync/Gsync also is applied by default when using this cable! Did not notice any stuttering! Everything is buttery smooth and picture quality is perfect! On a side note, make sure to cap your FPS limit to that of your monitor if your want to take advantage of freesync! Very happy and relieved that this works! :)

The "latches" don't latch worth a damn and anytime I accidentally kick my PC or heaven forbid, my cat jumps off said PC, I lose the connection to my main monitor until I get up and wiggle the plug... Stopped using and ordered a different brand.

Specs claim this cable is fully 1.2 compatible. Perhaps for shorter lengths it is but I could not get the 15ft cable to work with my Asus PG279Q monitor (1440p 144hz). Also, the pictures, here on amazon for all sizes have the DP logo on them, however, these 15ft cables, in hand, do NOT have the DP logo on them, so they are not certified by displayport.org.I needed some longer cables, as I want to conceal my wiring in-wall. I will have to try the 10ft cables, which are certified on displayport.org, and hope they are long enough.

High-quality! Nice thick cable, which may be an issue if you need a thinner cable. I bought the 15ft one and it supports 2560*1440p at 144hz! Took forever to find a cable that'd could do that and I'm stoked it does!

Cables work great. Ordered the 15ft version. Getting 4K @ 60Hz on my two LG 43" 4K monitors via my AMD Radeon Pro WX 5100.

This cable is advertised for 21.6 Gbps. I tried it first at 4k and 30 Hz which only requires 6.18 Gbps. I get a lot of flicker and a lot of desyncs. I then tried it at 60 Hz that requires 12.54 Ghz which is why I purchased the cable in the first place. All I get is a blank screen, it can't even sync up at all. I tried two cables, and I tried to reverse the cable so that the opposite ends were plugged in case of bad ground termination. There was no way I could get the cable to work at 60 Hz which is well within the advertised specification.I'll be returning the 3 cables I got as soon at Amazon's return form works for me.

I've got a bunch of StarTech DisplayPort cables in various lengths, and I've always been happy with them. This is actually the second 15-foot DP cable of theirs that I have, since the first worked out fine.There's really not too much to say about it. It's a DisplayPort cable, so it either works or it doesn't. This one works (at least, for me -- more than a few other reviewers seem to be having trouble). It uses the standard click-in locks on the end so that the cable doesn't accidentally fall out. It doesn't have that fancy gold plating, but I'm not too certain how necessary/useful that actually is -- I've never had any problems with cables without it.

For my display port 1.2, it worked and in my short use I did not come across the problems that other people are complaining about in reviews. Intermittently there may have been a lag, but too short to be noticeable. It does not have the fine quality of Apple but it worked.

There is a lot of confusion regarding display port cables and what to select for your purpose. Prior to purchasing, I contacted Star Tech for clarification on a 15ft version of this cable and whether it would work at 1080p at 144hz for a gaming monitor and got this response - "The DISPLPORT15L 15ft DisplayPort cable is certainly compliant with DisplayPort 1.2 HBR2 specifications with bandwidth up to 21.6Gbps. I do not suspect there will be any issues with running the DISPLPORT15L with a 1920x1080 monitor at 144Hz. The bandwidth required will be well below the 21.6Gbps of which the cable is capable. There will be no flicker with a 1920x1080@144Hz display due to the DISPLPORT15L." After receiving the cable, I have found that the cable works flawlessly with no flicker or drop off while gaming at the highest settings. I am very satisfied with this cable for my purposes and if you are looking at similar specs, then I would suggest this cable over the other brands currently available, as this is the only one I could locate after several hours of scanning forums, that is capable of 21.6Gbps.
