The instructions are a bit lacking, I watched a couple YouTube videos before it was delivered so installation and programming was fairly simple. I had it installed and working in about 20 minutes.

I been worried about getting auto start as I did once with a different brand and had no idea what to do to install it correctly this kind on the other hand 10 mins it was in and working 10 mins i watch u tube to fix everything on my rides and they all seem to be done in no time at all and I work on mine all dam day so when I say 10 mins I mean just 10 mins i bought another one from my car same thing 10 mins everyone who doesn't have auto start needs one it's amazing and no joke simple instructions and u will be done too in 10 mins no tearing apart dash no nothing really u lay on the floor but again 4 disconnect and connect this harness in and ur done programming was easy thought screw it up but it worked 1st try so ya go get this product u will thank me later as ur in love with ur warm ride when ur off to work the next day

They don't have a video on how to install is remote, I finally got it done but you buy this remote for Nissan Titan and trying to install, forget about the instructions.

I bought this for my 2015 Nissan Armada knowing that the Titan and Armada are almost identical besides the rear. Installation video made it a breeze. I installed it in 20 minutes. Don't be afraid to buy this for your Armada.

I do wish they had better instructions, it really isn't difficult to install, but it's kind of difficult to understand the instructions. They included a link to a video, but the video if of a Frontier and not at Titan. They are similar but they are not the same.That being said, once I actually started the installation it all made sense. They say 20 minute install, If I had to do another one it wouldn't take me 10 minutes. And it worked perfectly right out of the gate, so far it has not given me any issues at all.

I took a chance on this product for my 2011 Nissan Titan. The instructions were poor, but thanks to many YouTube post I was able to complete the installation. It is indeed solder-free and 100% plug-in but locating all the ports and modules that have to be accessed for interface is sometimes frustrating. Not really the manufacturers' fault but a well written photo documented manual would have been appreciated. If they don't want to include one they should at least have it as a download online. Functionality is good and programing is easy.

I bought this for my 2008 XE Nissan Titan Crew Cab. This remote starter would start my truck but immediately cut off within a few seconds. Turns out my truck is one of those XE models that didn’t come with an immobilizer. That feature was not standard for my XE, it was an option that apparently wasn’t requested when it was bought new. I had no idea. I immediately took to the internet and forums looking for a solution. All the know-it-alls said it would never work for me. I had a plain Jane dud. I never found any post anywhere with any useful information or solution. So, as a last resort I reluctantly did what I should have done to begin with, I contacted Start-X and opened a repair ticket. Not that I needed a repair. The module wasn’t broken. I just needed a solution. Start-X responded the next day via email with a few questions to rule out any improper installation issues. A few days and a few emails later I got the go ahead to mail only the module to their servicing center. I mailed it out on a Thursday and received it back the following Wednesday. Start-X programmed it and mailed it back (free of charge). They attached new instructions for installation. Just a couple quick steps. Literally took 10 seconds to perform. The remote start now works perfectly. I hope this saves some of you the aggravation I experienced before contacting the company.

2012 nissan titan in Canada 🇨🇦, took less than 15 minutes....watch video first...locate ignitionplug bcm and trailer plug was already connected to brake controller..instructions steps easy to follow...install working like it supposed to so far.

Took an hour to install, hardest part was finding the trailer brake connector whish was zip tied to another connector. Had to remove the under the dash cover and it was there, easy to access. I would recommend this to any one looking to do a DIY install. Super easy to install, just watch the video.

I've installed a few aftermarket remote starters, and this one was the easiest to date! Usually, this has more to do with the vehicle than the remote starter itself though. Either way, If you have a 2008-2015 titan, this can be installed within an hour without issues! Have been using it for a couple of months and it been flawless.

The Install was straight forward. There is a install video for the Titan however, it sucks, crappy over bearing classical music and the guy is not concise. I had to watch it several times, but overall it helped. If you have the trailer package, you’ll use the brakes wires. U-Haul has a good video to locate this single white harness (straight up the E-brake location- its tucked, tapped and hiding). If your moderately mechanically inclined the total installation is easy. I installed this in OCT in time for MN winters, now I have to remember to leave desired settings before exiting. This unit has not caused any electronic or mechanical problems of any kind. I recommend before connecting the wires harnesses you predict your wire layout to ensure they will be tucked away well, the brake pedal is too close. E brake, hood latch cable and framing limit your tuck space too. I did email support for a simple question and they responded quickly and were helpful. Over all I use this unit 3-5 times a day, every day and no issues. I’m so happy I got this unit.

The installation video is missing a specific part for nissan titan. Pro 4x The trailer plug if not previously used is taped up above the parking brake. Hard to find as it's about 18 inches to the left and if never used from factory. Video says its just below steering wheel.Taped up out of the way behind the parking brake. You will have to remove the lower facicia to get to it. It is labeled by nissan and is required to complete install. Other than that it worked out of the box. Just waisting 40 mins trying to find that plug
