intallation was straight forward. Just watch the video link then follow the instuction provided in the box for module set up. To me, taking off the plastic cover was a bit hard .

The installation of this doesn't require any wire splicing or custom work like others, had it installed in under an hour. I really like that you don't need an extra remote like some others.

Love this! Easy to install took me less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Love that I can warm up my van without having to walk outside during our winter months.

This is plug and play. Worked perfect on my 2016 Sienna key version. Took 10 min to install. Watch the YouTube videos, it makes it so easy to do it your self

I bought this product and tried it really it is worth the money I paid just follow the instructions and everything is fine I think 30 minutes was enough to install it

Just installed this and even though the video walk through is outdated, it covers the bulk of the install. It did not mention anything about the module and what to do with it or where to secure it.I'd recommend creating one for the programming as well or mentioning it in the video but the directions from the manual was good enough to finish it.If you have medium to bigger hands, the tight spaces for pulling the connectors out and back in will be tough.Securing the module actually took longer than hooking up the cables.It works right now and will update in a few months as it get colder out.

This was easy to install, no real DIY skills were needed. It works flawlessly with the factory remote, no need to carry a second fob. When you lock the car 3 times in rapid succession, it starts the vehicle. (So don't triple-check to make sure the car is locked, or your car will be running for 15 min LOL! ) Its been on for over a year now and no issues.

The Start-X remote starter was an absolute great purchase for my wife's Toyota van. I 've looked at other remote starters in the past, but they all required cutting or modifying the wiring harness which kept me from purchasing one. However, the Start-X remote starter did not require any wire splicing or modifications at all. Best feature is that it works with the existing factory remote!! Many other remote starters come with their own remote which leads to you having two remotes to keep up with. I completed the installation without my wife knowing. After I was done, I called her to the kitchen window and told her to press the lock button on her remote three times. When her van started, she was absolutely speechless, major bonus points since I did this right before winter set in. So far, no issues and great range since it works with the van's existing remote. Would buy this product in the future without hesitation.

So after it took 10 mins to plug in all the wires I couldn't get it work there's 3 plugs and they fail to mention you must hold program button in as you plug in the 20 pin connector. And the 20 pin connector is the medium size one not the biggest one that was my fail. After doing this fallow the programing step by step in the booklet. This job took me 1hour 20min all in all if I new to hold in button when connecting 20 pin it would taking me 15mins start to finish oh and me reading the booklet to see witch is the 20 pin connector. Wife ask what you learn. I said nothing I'm a man I read instructions only after hours into the job and that's the way it will stay hahahaha 😆 😂 😅 service help was fast took 5 mins in between emails to email back. I'm confident that I could install and program one in 7 mins tops now. Buy one you won't be disappointmented the range isnt good but I also bought a long range remote have not got it in yet because i didnt order it at sametime, but I'll update when I do. This is a must have don't waste ur money at a shop. And also if you have warranty under 100k or 60m you void warranty if you cut wires or splice so this unit is fully plug and play and doesn't void your warranty good luck on your install and remember witch one is the 20 pin and hold in button when plugging the 20 pin in and release button when it flashes red then fallow the step by step book learn from my hour of failure lol.

This product has not been properly tested and evaluated. It may perform perfectly on one or two of the vehicles it is perported to be desigmed for, But for the manufacturer to make a broad statement that it applies to every car in a base model and every option on all the cars that has a key start system is premature and very near fraudulent. In my case the unit actually did start the car remotely BUT, with it installed per their instructions, my internal rear hatch could not be activated from the overhaed switch or the FOB. The sliding doors could not be operated with the interior switches in the overhead or at the door or the FOB. The Start-X was never tested on all the model configurations and as such to advertise it's applicability to a broad range of vehicles without testing on each is either stupid or outright fraud.
