Great set of knives! I have a set of two already but needed two more to make a set. These cut great and are a great price point as well. Packaged very nicely and would make a great gift!

These Hinye steak knives are a cut above the rest! The serrated blades slice through meat with effortless precision and are super sharp. They come with silicone tip covers that help to keep the tip sharp. The comfortable wooden handles make mealtime a breeze. A must-have for any steak lover!

These steak knives have some heft to them (in a good way). They easily cut steak. They’re attractive. As long as you like serrated knives; I don’t are whether my steak knives are serrated or not as long as they cut my steak easily. The only downside is the knives have to be hand washed. My husband & I actually agreed that these steak knives deserve 5 stars.

This set of 2 serrated steak knives from Hinye are well made and feel comfortable and balanced in your hand. These do not feel flimsy, they feel sturdy and look and feel similar to what you would find in a top notch steak house. Sturdy and attractive. These are priced to be a good value. These are good basic knives. You will want to hand wash these.

Just got these steak knives and I have to say, they're quite the lookers with those gorgeous wood handles. The craftsmanship is impressive - solid stainless steel construction and the handles feel substantial and comfortable in my hand. But here's where things get disappointing: actually using them to cut meat is more work than it should be. I found myself having to saw back and forth way too much, even with relatively tender cuts. When I hit a piece of gristle during my ribeye dinner, it was like hitting a brick wall. The serrated edge just doesn't seem sharp or fine enough to handle tougher bits. They're beautiful enough to dress up any table setting, but I found myself reaching for my old knives when I really wanted to enjoy my steak without the workout. If you're more interested in looks than performance, these might work for you. Otherwise, I'd keep shopping.

Aesthetically they are awesome. Don't dishwasher these, they should be hand washed per their instructions, as well as common sense because the handles are wood. That isn't a problem, but it's a requirement to be aware of. The knives look great. I was surprised in a good way. That's the good news.Unfortunately, the steel is 420J2. If you aren't into all the latest 'super steels' and higher end knife materials, that is totally normal and expected, there are new steels coming out all the time.420J2 is the cheapest stainless product on the market. Most* knife makers will not make a blade with this steel. Some will line their pocket knives with it. It is best known as a liner material and it was never really designed to be a blade steel - but it can be. They did it. A couple of things to know about this steel... 1 - It won't hold an edge for long. When these knives dull after use, and they will, you will be figuring out how to sharpen a serrated edge that doesn't want to hold an edge. These knives are on the lower end of the price spectrum. If they were more costly, I'd rate them signifigantly lower. You are paying for the nice wood handles and the 'full tang' steel, but the steel itself, is pretty bad. Granted it 'looks' good straight out of the box, but it will not wear well. I suggest you google 420J2 Steel and spend a couple minutes. If the 420J2 isn't a deal breaker for you, you'll be happy with this set. What makes a good knife stand the test of time is the steel it is made from. I would give these 5 stars if they spent just a little more on that critical component. It would cost a few bucks more, and be worth every penny. I'm reviewing these from the perspective of what a paying customer would want to know.Bottom line, is these would make a great 'starter set'. A backup set for the 'in-laws', a great set for the camper. The one (and probably only) really good thing about the steel that they chose to use, is that it has extremely high corrosion resistance. i.e. you can leave these in your sink for 3 days and they won't rust at all. They look nice. Attaching a pic of them fresh out of cardboard box they came in.

My old steak knives were getting pretty dull so I ordered these. They appear to be of decent quality. The blades are sharp and the handles are nice and smooth and fit my hand comfortably. I've used them to cut a piece of meat, slice a tomato and even dice up a potato. So far so good. I'm not sure how long they will hold their edge. Only time will tell. I was disappointed with the fact that they said they came in a colorful box. I believed they would have a nice wooden storage box but instead it's only a cheap cardboard box that will not last long.
