I felt kind of bad for going for this cheap version rather than the name brand but considering that it is just stamped sheet metal and works just as well as the name brand, it was worth saving 40 dollars. Stop fooling around with a coping saw and just pick up a Collins foot. You will thank me later.

I installed this on my old Makita jigsaw, and despite the fact that there are no instructions, it was fairly logical in how it fit. Seems to be fairly well made, the thickness of the steel is quite robust so no concerns about flexing. The zinc plating also appears to be fairly decent. In coping it is a vast improvement over the original flat plate as it allows you to keep in constant contact with the wood.

First there were no instructions and some nuts and shims but on this Bosch JS120N. I just took the existing allen key nut out and the black shim washer and used them. It seems to work like a charm. The finish looks very good. Not sure how good I will be at using it but that is not the tool or foots issue. Using the stock base on my other jigsaw is a pain for coping hope this makes it easier.
