Okay, so I have needed a new column cover for a long time, but refused to pay $250+ for an OEM one in great shape.I saw these pop-up on Amazon for under $50 but I did notice that they did not have the cut out for the tilt lever. After sending a message to the seller, they said it would work for a tilt column… but it does not.You can see the fit and fitment is good, but not great. It’s better than my cracked one and I can take a Dremel to it to make the cutout for the tilt lever. Not exactly ideal, but for the price and a little effort, I’ll make it work.

I was very excited when I unboxed this cover. It appears to be very well made with good heavy plastic. However when I removed my existing cover that is broken I saw that there are several differences between the two. Please see pics. for different mounting points and openings. I have an original 1986 Toyota Pickup and the new unit I received will not come close to matching the original and will not install on my truck. I am not sure what it will fit, but it is unable to fit my need. 1🌟
