Don't waste your time, just buy the bearing from Ford, unless you like doing things twice. Not only did the bearing not last driving, it didn't even survive install! I put everything together and when I compressed the spring & I fought with their cheap snap ring which is too thin, the bearing already fell apart. Unless your parts are missing, there is nothing in this kit that is even close to as good as the original equipment. I'd return it, but I already spent too much time dealing with this junk..

was able to quickly and easily replace a failed upper bearing on my OBS Ford Truck. All the components were very well made but the included snap ring was not as heavy a metal as the one I removed so I reused the old one as it seemed to provide better lockup on the steering shaft and it is really the only thing keeping the bearing seated where it needs to be. The one that came with the kit may have worked but I didn't want to have to do it again if it failed. Not saying it would fail I just didn't use it.

Arrived a day early everything fit as original except snap ring in kit was not as strong as original. Be sure to save your old one if possible because it is stronger than the one in kit

Everything fit great except the snap ring. Thin and not as sturdy. Ended up popping out. Bought a new one from ford and still keeping everything in place.
