Good quality stencil , easy to use after a little practice . The first few tries were not great, but it gets easier once you figure out how much paint to use. I started with a stencil brush but then changed to a smallFoam Roller and it went much faster

This was my first time using a stencil. I ordered the 2 full stencils and 1 half stencil (I barely used the half stencil.) Having two full stencils really helped keep the project moving. I did have quite a bit of paint bleed, but this pattern is very forgiving. Near the corners was a little difficult, so I did what I could and free handed the design with a paint brush where the stencil couldn't reach (like along the bottom and top of the wall). Another pain point for this project was cleaning my stencils. The paint quality I used dries very fast and so trying to clean my stencils before they dried was impossible. I ended up having to hand peel the paint off of the stencils to get them clean, which was annoying. My background color is city loft by Sherwin Williams and the stencil color is lakeside by Sherwin Williams.

I love the end result. Just don’t underestimate how long this may take if you’re on your own and have a large space to cover. Using this stencil on my 12x9 wall took me about a full day to do by myself, stopping to wash the paint off the stencil about every 10 uses. By the end it was pretty caked up with spray adhesive as well and it was making things come out fuzzier/less crisp, but you can’t tell unless you get really close. I also had issues getting the stencils lined up and had some gaps in some spots and overlap in others, luckily mostly at the bottom where the wall is mostly covered with furniture. There is also a bit of a brighter stripe where you overlap the stencils, but again probably not super noticeable if you’re not the one that did it. I’m very happy there were 2 full stencils because I could paint with one while the other dried and that helped keep things moving. I didn’t need to use the partial stencil that was provided so I’ll save that for any future touch ups, but tossed the 2 full stencils rather than trying to clean them.

Easy to use. They are thick enough to handle and easy to roll up and store.

If you have your heart set on a stencil, go for it. Next time, I'll go with wallpaper. This was too much work and I may need to sand my wall if I ever want to re-paint.

Take off the lid and notice there is a cuff at the top of the tube. To remove stencil, tap the tube on the countertop until it is reaches the end of the tube. Then cut a slit in the cuff of tube. Tear back the entire cuff and your stencil will the slide out of the tube easily.

This was my first time using wall stencils. I was surprised to find I could move and paint about 3 sections before needing to rinse off a sheet, and since the sheets are pretty large and there are two of them, the process went quickly.There is also a small "edge" piece with just half of the shape. This helped me get great results. Also, it warned not to use these on a heavily tectired wall, but since I was using the leaf pattern I thought that a muted shape might be OK, and it came out great!I used the spray adhesive as others recommended and that made positioning very easy. My only suggestion: somewhere it said to clean the spray adhesive off the stencils with baby oil. Don't do that, it left an awful mess and seems to have permanently coated the stencils.
