Worked great for the seat I bought with it. The switch itself was opposite of what my lawn mower expected though (Stihl Zero Turn). This switch is called N.O. which means normally open. My mower expected an N.C. which is normally closed. In switch terms, N.O. means that if you put an ohm meter on it or continuity tester, it will read that no current is flowing without pressure on the switch. When you push on the switch, current will flow. Make sure you know which kind your current vehicle takes.

I bought a John Deere lawn riding mower. I’d like to change the seat to a high back but my only issue was this switch in the seat which is for engine cut off in the event of a fall off the rider or something else stupid like that, anyway these switches are an exact replacement. If I can find a new seat with armrests and high back I can now mess around without voiding the warranty!The O.E. Seat replacement is $699 and I can buy a forklift seat for a couple hundred. I changed the seat on my Troy Built rider and man what a difference! Item is as described by seller and service was great!Thank you!

I received the seat safety switch looks to be good quality unfortunately there wasn’t the 2 screws needed to fasten it under the seat.
