I was having backfire and idle problems on my Ariens 24" deluxe, and I opted to replace the carb rather than attempt to clean it. For the price, why bother cleaning them. Great carb, even had the same castings as the one that came on it, however it does NOT come with a new gasket. Not a big deal, just reuse the existing one for what it's worth. Aside from that, no complaints.

Purchased a carb for my Ariens snowblower because it just wasn’t running right. OMG so happy I bought your product because I installed it and the engine then started up first pull and runs like a beast! Best investment ever, would’ve cost more to just have the old one adjusted. Replaced my 10 year old carb on my Ariens 28" Deluxe (921030) with this carb. Used to have to run the engine on 1/2 choke. Had many stalls and backfires. This carb made it run like new again. In fact I don't think it ever ran this good when it was new. I could never put the throttle all the way down and not have it die. This is how the snowblower was meant to run. Simple, cheap fix to give yourself basically a new snowblower.

I installed this carb on my Ariens snowblower. I am experienced with small engines so I know it was installed correctly. Now the machine will not pull start. I need to use the electric starter. The engine runs rough. Go with an OEM if you are going to replace your carb. This one looks nice but simply does not work. Some knockoff items will substitute well. Not this one.

I installed this carburetor (with the help of You Tube) in a short time. After installation, it fired up the engine just fine. Let's hope it lasts longer than the original one.
