This is a must have for my 51 style telecaster if you need to adjust the truss rod, undo the pick guard screws, slightly raise the Pick guard, make the adjustment and then screw the Pick guard back down

This tool will get the job done, but it’s just too small. It’s only 3 and a half inches long and a quarter inch wide. You can’t really get a good grip on it so the tool constantly slipped out of the slot on the truss rod on my Fender Telecaster. Being so small it actually hurts my hand because I have to push so hard to keep it from slipping out of the truss rod slot. My hand was still hurting even the day after using it. I actually dread using this tool. This tool needs to be at least twice as long with a handle like a screw driver so you can get a good grip on it. I hope the price comes down too because with shipping $20 is just too much.

Seems so simple it a wonder why Fender doesn't offer with their heel-adjust neck models. Must-have.

Recently received an older 4 bolt neck style Tom Anderson tele. Replaced strings and trying to figure out how to adjust the neck relief as there was no access in the headstock. Saw an adjustment near the neck pickup and found some old official instructions on using a screwdriver and grinding down the edges. Yeesh! Then saw someone mention this tool and purchased it and :chefs kiss: it works perfectly! As my dad always said, the right tool for the right job.

Prodotto di qualità, funzionale e durevole, unico appunto il prezzo veramente eccessivo e non giustificato. Ma dato che non ci sono alternative va bene lo stesso.

While I wasn’t thrilled with the price, this tool is effective for it’s intended use. I may have to modify a couple of Strats just so I can use this tool for those guitars as well.

Like lots of StewMac stuff, it is expensive for what it is (I mean it is a piece of bent metal) but with that said, these guys are excellent at making "purpose made" tools like this that nobody else thinks about. If you have a truss rod that adjusts at the heel of the neck, this will prevent you from needing to take the neck off (and on and off and on) to adjust. For me, that justifies the cost.Fender should license this from StewMac and ship one with every guitar that adjusts like this IMO.

Works great! Too expensive for what it is honestly, but if you don’t want to take off the neck on your vintage style telecaster, this is what you need.
