14 oz. Titanium head "Titan" Framer hits like a 24 oz. Steel with less recoil and weight.

I’ve framed year ago with a 32oz. I can build better faster and drive 16’s easier with the 14oz titanium. Much easier on the elbows. The wooden hickory handle is more ergonomic than a straight handle and doesn’t transfer the impact to your arm and elbow.

This is my absolute favorite hammer in the world! All of my peers had one so I got myself one and boy it is great! It is much lighter than a typical framing hammer but it has the force of one! I recommend this hammer for everyone

I love this hammer. I've used a few steel faced hammers, but I've never owned a titanium one. The hammer is extremely light, and doesn't weigh my rig down as much as my old 28 0z Kobalt did. It is easy to swing around, and drives nails faster ans easier than my old hammers have. The reason I call it the Porsche of hammers though, is because although it is a high performing hammer, it's the kind of hammer that you don't want to scratch. The handle can withstand a moderate amount of abuse, but as with Fiberglas handles, it is important to not use excessive force when pulling nails. That brings up cats paws. If you buy this hammer, keep your old hammer handy. Because of its titanium face, you will dull the waffling if you hit a steel cats paw. It is a minor set back, but like a beautiful sports car, you should expect some drawbacks. I own this hammer because of its exquisite craftsmanship and high performance.
