Your cart is empty.Stinger is basically Mustang Take 2. The most obvious enhancement over Mustang is its sharply pointed ringer breaker, akin to a bee’s stinger, which really helps deflect dead center hits to the hook rather than bounce straight off. Stinger also has a little more weight on its tips providing huge counterweights for effortless turning and flipping. The self-centering rear thumb cleat has very defined edges… great for flipping! The body of the shoe has a wide, thin feel and the edges all around are even more rounded than Mustang, making for a very smooth release. Overall, it may be more of a turn shoe than a flip shoe, but for the flip pitchers who like a ringer break, you can't do much better than Stinger! Most players find that Stinger rotates fast for both the turn and the flip. Very little wrist action is needed to make it work right and that helps it to fly straight and steady right onto the stake! Stinger is a overall a little bulkier than most shoes, making it a bit heavier with its average shoe weight being a little over 2 lbs. 9 oz. Every Thoroughbred Horseshoe can take a serious beating… it’s part of the plan from the beginning, as we know our customers well! So, they should all last quite a while even with heavy pro-level usage… hence the two-year warranty. But if used only occasionally, a set of Thoroughbreds may last a lifetime.

Arrived earlier than expected delivery date which was a pleasant surprise. These horseshoes are of the highest quality, and are exactly what I was looking for. Extremely durable, perfectly balanced and comfortable. They helped me pitch more ringers and better overall instantly. Getting used to the stinger by A.F. Allen Francis was a challenge for me ,for I have never pitched a shoe so aggressive as the stinger , if you are on the money with a shoe of course you will score. But with the Stinger slightly off if you touch the stake it will grab it really ! it will what i love about this shoes also are a ringer sometimes bounces right off, not with this Stinger . buy them and practice for you will blend in with this shoe.GOOD LUCK
