I ordered this bouncer for my newborn grandson. Baby gear safety has changed so much since my children were babies so I rely on my daughter, a mother to a one-year-old, because she is very knowledgeable. She only buys high-quality gear and has extremely high safety standards. She checked the Stokke Yoga bouncer out and loved it. She thinks it is much better than comparable products on the market. I'm so glad it passed her stringent safety and quality requirements. I can use it with confidence that my grandbaby will be safe.It is immediately apparent that the bouncer is made of high-quality materials. There is nothing on this bouncer that feels cheap in any way. I like the color of the seat material but expect to have to wash it more often than baby gear with darker fabrics. The front of the seat cushion is a soft cotton. It can be machine-washed in warm water (104 degrees). It comes with an insert for newborns which can be removed once they outgrow it. The 5-point harness latch is super easy to open and close. You have the option to attach a toy holder. Attaching a toy was very easy. The seat has 3 positions which are easy to set. I am not clear which position is best for a newborn because the instructions are mainly just pictures. I will have to figure it out through trial and error. I found the instructions to be difficult because there aren't very many words. They are trying to cater to multiple languages by using pictures instead of written instructions. I think it would be helpful to add very simple explanations in multiple languages on each page with pictures.

If you have a baby you know how important a bouncer is. If you have kids you know the quality of Stokke products and their natural color palette and designs. This bouncer is no exception, it is made well, with a pleasing color palette and best of all does not need to plugged in or take batteries, it’s all human powered. This is another great Stokke product, although the price seems a bit high to me. Perhaps it will come down in time, that said, the products are made to last and are a good investment to hand down through many children.

I have a Stokke Tripp Trapp and it worked very well so I was curious to see how Stokke would design a baby bouncer. They have done a great job on this baby bouncer. The bouncer was easy to assemble in minutes. The wood finish on the legs is very solid, and feels durable. The fabric and cushions on the bouncer are soft and also feel durable enough to handle any baby. The bouncer was easy to use and gently moved our baby. Most other bouncers only bounce up and down. The ability of this bouncer to both bounce and swing side to side is a nice feature that most babies should enjoy.

This is a nice but expensive bouncer. The main unique feature of this bouncer is that it can move side to side as well as up and down, but that can be difficult to utilize in practice since you still move it manually and it’s challenging to apply motion in both directions at once. My opinion is that it’s a good bouncer, but I don’t think it’s worth over 50% more than the competition since it still has some downsides. This took a bit of getting used too, the instructions are not that clear. You have to pull up the tab on the back of the holder, line it up with the base, then once you put them together, push the tab on the back of the holder down to lock it. The tab on the base you can unlock in order to turn the rocker back and forth. On the back of the holder, there is a latch type handle, if it is up, the holder is locked into the highest angle. If you pull it out, that is the second angle, and then if you press it down, that's the lowest angle.This is not electronic or battery operated, you have to manually sway it back and forth or rock it up and down. I do have a small rocker machine that clips to this easily and vibrates enough that the seat also vibrates, which is super convenient, otherwise you can just set it next to your foot and bounce away!The padding is very thick and comes with a five point restraint system, with padding on the straps. The instructions show how to remove everything so you can wash it, and this also comes with an over arm attachment with a loop that you can use to attach toys (not included).For the price, I wish that this rocked or vibrated on its own. It's well made, and I like that you can easily adjust, but for the price point (right now $299), it seems a bit odd that there is no other components other than manually rocking or swaying it. I'm not removing a star, because it is not advertised as being electronic, but it is something to be aware of.

This bouncy chair is really nice! First of all, it looks fantastic, with neutral colors and a sleek, modern design. There is no power supply or batteries, this thing is baby-powered! The slightest movements, like baby kicking his legs, set it into motion. You can set it to bounce, swing, or both. Super comfy and padded, with a harness that keeps baby safe and protected while mom/dad get some things done around the house! It has a detachable bar that lets you attach a toy within baby's reach. It folds up easily and is light, so you can carry it from room to room. The covers are washable and have a really nice feel to them. Super nice bouncer, much nicer quality and better design than most I've seen on the market.
