My old door handle quit working, handy man was going to charge $185 to come look at it and if it needed a new handle would be another $100. Went to Lowes for a unerversal storm door handle, didn't fit my door. Found this inner mechanism on Amazon, 2 days latter wallah my door works like a charm, smooth and easy, closes and locks like a new door AND I didn't need another key! Super happy with this find.

Very happy that it fit. Needs further mod to allow the lock to work properly, but that's because broken part was standard deadbolt.
