This is not chew proof. Our 8 month old lab has the end open in 2 weeks. You may say any bed can be ruined but we do have another brand that is still going strong. Messaged retailer via Amazon and have not heard back.

This product is definitely not chew proof more like chew resistance. Now we do have a heavy chewer 15month old german shepherd/golden retriever. Fist two pics is after the first night third Pic is from the second morning and then we took it from her. I also ordered a smaller one for our 7 year old pug he is not much of a chewer but is a bit of digger. He loves his I think it will last him a long time. I think I just have a extremely heavy chewer unfortunately

My dog heard "chew proof" and "indestructible " and took that as a personal challenge.He has managed to chew a couple holes in the edges but has not completely decimated it yet, which may actually be a record for him (3 weeks and counting!) There is no fluff in it, instead it feels like a thick wool blanket. I would say for most dogs, this would be probably very durable. If your dog can destroy a black Kong toy like mine can, you might want to keep shopping.

My staffy mix has been systematically destroying every "indestructible" toy or bed I've gotten her in minutes at worst, hours at best. But this bed has held up for months now! Little frayed on a corner where she's tried to destroy it but that's all. Very pleased with this bed, wish more items held up to my puppy and her scissor chewing lol.

Although the bedding appears to be decent quality, it is 100% NOT indestructible nor non-chewable. It took my GSD pup (8 mos) less than 10 minutes to get his first taste. Now I am back to looking for actual non-chewable doh bedding. If your dog is like mine, a chewer....keep looking.

The mat is very flat and not soft at all, definitely not worth $62.99. I am very disappointed with this product. I could get a much thicker, more padded option just about anywhere else for the same price point. I hardly ever give negative reviews, but this one simply not up to par for the price. I would pay maybe $18.99 for something of this quality. It is basically a fluffy towel. I would return it, but that isn't even worth it

I've spent $$$ on crate beds/beds, my dog ate 14 beds/mats who would think a $20 crate bed, is non chewable nor destructive by a little Jack Russell. He has not been able to chew it up and destroy, will be ordering more just to keep in stock (just in case).thank you whoever created this bed. FYI brought the K9 within 20 minutes foam all over the room.

Billed as an "indestructible" dog pad for aggressive chewers, I was surprised to see the manufacturer's label say it is NOT chew-resistant. We have an aggressive chewer, so stay tuned. It may work because it tastes so bad, but that's not likely.The vendor refunded my purchase immediately, and they've been very helpful.My granddaughter's dog (the chewer) has taken to the pad, pulled it out of his cage, and dragged it around the house. We've lost a few bits of fluff, but in general, it's survived much better than the standard stuffed pad. Even though the manufacturer says it's not chew-resistant, it does a pretty good job. It's still in one piece.Postscript: The pad is now coming apart rapidly after nearly five months of abuse. We ordered a new one. Why, you say?This became our dog's favorite toy. He dragged it around everywhere and played tug-of-war with it.It has outlasted any chew or pull toy we've tried. It's not cheap, but it's the best we've found.
