It’s ok but if you buy straws from the store you have to make sure they are short enough to fit the jar. I usually buy bendy ones and they wouldn’t fit. I took off the bottom tray part of the lid to make my straws fit.

We just received our Red Straw Dispenser and were pleasantly surprised at how well made it is and the glass has some unique designs on it. Very nice to display on a counter for all to see! Gave 5 star as it is what it says it is. Yes you can "overfill" it so that straws go outside of the botttom cup - otherwise it is a sturdy/steady container that works well and as it is made of glass looks good too!
