Got this for our child. The seat is wider and softer than what came on Strider bike we got. It was easy to install. Highly recommend to provide a more comfortable seat.

Fast shipment but product is sub par especially for price. Cannot adjust seat tilt and it is tilted back naturally so kid slips off the back of the seat easily. It is also hardly worth being called padded. It has a cheap small layer of foam and vinyl over top rigid plastic. Not worth the price if you can rig up something else to fit a strider. I would not buy again or recommend.

This seat has been great for my son's strider bike. The bike came with a seat that was a hard plastic and he didn't want to ride it because it hurt. This seat has some padding over the top of the plastic seat. It is more like a normal bike seat. It also has a longer pole than the one that came with the bike to allow for him to use it longer. He will be able to use this as he gets older until he gets a real bike. He is using the bike a lot more now that we have added the padded seat. I would recommend this to anyone buying the Strider bike.

This seat was a necessary purchase for 3.5 year old daughter to be able to ride the Strider balance bike, because a) she was too tall for the stock seat, and b) she kept complaining that the stock seat (which is inexplicably made out of rigid plastic) was "hurting her vagina." We are frustrated consumers. We didn't realize that the $100 we were spending on the bike wasn't going to be sufficient to accommodate our daughter's height OR comfort and that we would be forced to spend an additional 12 dollars plus shipping just to enable her to ride her new bike. My final complaint is that even though this saddle is more comfortable than the stock saddle, it's still not great - it's cheaply made and feels pretty hard for a kid's bike seat, in my opinion.I will say that overall we as a family love the balance bike concept - our daughter has picked up the concept of 2-wheel balancing very quickly and we anticipate that she'll be riding her 2-wheel pedal bike, sans training wheels, before she turns four. But this is a review of the 305mm after-market saddle, and I just can't give it more than 3 stars, even though you might be forced to buy it simply because there isn't an alternative.
