I bought these just to get a bass I built set up properly. Very cheaply made (no surprise, look at the the price). Once I had it set up ok, I put some proper strings on it and the difference was of course night and day. So, they served my purpose but I would never actually play music with them.

They fit very well for most scale lengths. Not for long scale though. The string quality and sound quality is perfectly fine. They function just like normal strings and they are just as durable. For me the value for money is beyond belief considering most brand name strings are double the price.
