This is the second, "3-in-1, Taser/Stun gun", I purchased from Amazon. I found out that it works best at 8 feet maximum distance. Anything further than that the wires some times get tangled, or the darts spread to far apart when discharged. I also found that the Ten feet reloads works better than the 15 feet cartridges. This weapon works best from 8 to 5 feet away from attacker. The shock is effective, and light works great. I give this product 8 out 10 effectiveness study the product before using it, also carry a knife just for back insurance.
