I purchased this stick for my 5.5 year old daughter who is starting lacrosse this year. She is average height for age, and this stick length is perfect for her. It is relatively lightweight making it easy for a 5-yo to handle, but substantial enough for her to get a solid feel. We have been using the stick for about 3 weeks and it has held up well so far. The stringing seems solid (combo leather and nylon). She loves the blue and green color scheme, which is an added bonus.My tall-for-age 8-yo daughter (who doesn’t play lacrosse, but is an athlete and still likes to play around in the back yard) can also use it comfortably.
