This foam cannon stopped working the 2nd time I used it. Now it just shoots out a stream of soapy water regardless of how you adjust it.

This is a cool new toy for me. I bought a pressure washer not that long ago. It's what I would call a starter unit. Also recently I decided to wash my car myself since car washes in my area want to charge a fortune for an average wash. I do a very nice job of washing my car myself, thank you very much, it just takes a bit of effort. When I heard about this sort of thing, a foam cannon, my mind was blown. Now, the jug of car wash soap that I have doesn't say that it is good for foam cannons but I used it anyway as it's a large jug of soap and I'm not wasting it. It worked fine, in fact, way better than my bucket of water and soap, so I'm excited about this!

Suds Lab F2 Super Wash Foam CannonI have another suds cannon that I bought in 2017 and is still going strong, but I thought I would get another one as a backup, just in case. As I pulled the Suds Lab cannon out of the box, my first impression is that it looked and felt nice, but upon closer examination I realized that the 'main body' is all plastic versus brass on my older one. Both bottles are pretty much the same – same size, the markings on the Suds lab are in ml while my old gun has both ml and ounces. So, other than the brass versus plastic, they are pretty much identical.They both performed pretty much identically also. Of course, you need a good quality foam soap designed for these guns to get the mega suds. It takes a bit of fiddling with the adjustments to get these dialed in, but once it is set up, you shouldn't have to change it.I would say this Suds Lab Cannon works great, but I am giving it 4 stars for the plastic construction

I got this foam cannon to have an extra one in my arsenal of cleaning supplies. I have a cheaper Amazon foam cannon that I've used for years and figured it would be good to have a spare. When I first opened the packaging I compared the Suds Lab foam cannon to my other foam cannon, after first inspection it visually seems like cheaper quality, considering my old foam cannon is almost completely brass, while the new one is made of mostly plastic. I have only used the Suds Lab foam cannon once so far, but initial impressions did not disappoint, while it did take a couple seconds longer to set the mixture screw and get the correct spray pattern than my other foam cannon, it worked just as well as my cheaper foam cannon.While this is a nice foam cannon I can't say Its any better than the cheaper ones.

I’ve tried several pressure washer foam canons and they are pretty much the same, what seems to change is mostly the materials used. For making suds this foam canon works perfectly fine but what determines the amount and quality of suds you get will be the soap you use. Cheaper soaps will work well enough but you will need to add substantially more. The best soaps to use are the concentrated thick ones that are meant specifically for foam canons, those will typically be even strong enough to not even scrub.The materials used in these canon are pretty decent, both the bottle threads and cap are made of plastic which is a good combination. I’ve heard that the worst combination is brass and plastic because the brass damages the plastic threads overtime. The plastic used feels like the same plastic often used on pressure washer guns with the adjustable tip head like some sunjoe ones.The only thing I noticed with this foam canon that I didn’t like is that they didn’t include a hose filter. The hose filter is just a small filter in the hose that goes in the cup, it doesn’t affect the performance but it does keep stuff from clogging the nozzle. I mention this because the product pictures clearly say hose and filter, I did replace the foam canon I got to see if it was just missing but neither had it.Overall the foam canon works perfectly fine, I rated it four stars because of the missing filters.

So in order to use any type of foam cannon you gotta use snow soap or soap that's compatible with foam cannons. What I've used is meguiar's gold class car wash shampoo because it's economical and gives you alot of product, also it's foam cannon compatible so it'll produce lots of foam. Now using this, it does produce thick foam all around my car and makes my job easier to clean my car. Now the build quality of the plastic bottle is great. It's thick plastic so it doesn't bend and shouldn't break that easy. Now for the nozzle, it has a steel quick disconnect for pressure washers, also it seems to be screwed on to some brass internals which feels pretty solid. But the exterior of the nozzle is all thick plastic, don't get me wrong, it feels nice but I'm not sure how long it'll last for the longterm. If it would've had more brass it would be an amazing foam cannon. Overall it's a great foam cannon that produces alot of foam depending on what soap you're using but I'm just not sure for how long it'll last.

I already have a foam cannon that connects directly to my garden hose and siphons a mixture of liquid car soap to foam wash my car. It actually works pretty well but does not foam quite like you might see at the car wash. I had checked on the Internet and found that foam cannons made to be used with pressure washers produced really thick foam as you would find in a car wash. I decided to get this foam cannon and try it for myself. I hooked it up to my 2000 psi pressure washer. I connected the foam cannon attachment to the pressure washer gun and the results were amazing. The difference is night and day. The foam was nice and thick and really cleaned the car well.

I assumed this was just another knock off foam cannon but was I wrong! This rivals the top brands (that I also have) and in fact, I like it better! I guess Suds Lab is a legit brand after all.The bottle is of good, standard size (not undersized like alot of them nowadays). The adjuster (sprayer) is heavy duty and well made and is easy to adjust.This is a great choice for a foam cannon, try it.
