Question 1: I just order new solar lights, why the light is not working ?
Please kindly solar charge 8-12 hours before first time use. When solar charging, the post light should be on turn on mode.
Question 2: I solar charged my solar light, but the light did not last long ?
The solar lights did not last long may owning to the battery did not well charged. Many factors contribute to poor charging:
Solar panel: Please make sure you have turn on the light's switch before solar charged. and directly charge under the sunlight.
Weather: Rainy or cloudy weather with poor solar energy will cause a short lighting time.
Season: Summer usually have more solar energy than winter days, a longer working time than winter. Furthermore, winter has lower ambient temperature, leading to a faster discharge speed, which may cause the solar lights work shorter time.
Place: In a place with much cover, like trees, walls, the solar panel will get less solar power and don't get full charge.

Fit right on the posts for my pool fence. I have 3 inch tubing. Look good and put out a nice amount of additional light. Not super bright but good for posts.

We used these light on our 3 1/2" wood posts around the perimeter front picket fence. They fit perfectly using screws to secure them on the post. They also can be screwed on top of oversized posts and caps. They have the highest lumens in daylight I could find at a reasonable price. They all are working nicely and stay on overnight.

THIS IS MY SECOND PURCHASE OF THESE LIGHTS. THE FIRST SET WAS PLACED ALONG OUR DRIVEWAY ANDLOOK VERY ATTRACTIVE. WE DECIDED TO BUY ANOTHER SET AFTER RENOVATING OUR DECK. THESE LIGHTS WILL WITHSTAND ALL KINDS OF WEATHER AND ARE RELIABLE AND DEPENDABLE. THEY NEVER FAIL TO COME ON EVERY NIGHT AND WILL BURN ALL NIGHT LONG. I really like these post lights. They light up my deck perfectly. The only problem I had was that I did not read the description well enough. I did not know they had to be screwed into the post to be held in place. I do not have a drill so I used two sided tape to help hold them in place. Other than that they are well worth the money, especially if you have the right tools for installation.

I recently added the Sumaote Solar Deck Post Lights to my outdoor space, and I must say, they've truly transformed the look of my deck. The design adds a fantastic cosmetic touch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in the evenings. However, it's worth noting that they are a bit on the dim side, and the battery life could be longer. Despite these minor drawbacks, I still appreciate the aesthetic they bring to my deck. I love that these are nicely dim as I didn't want something obtrusive in our eyes when we sit out on the deck at eye level of the lights. It lights up a soft glow and the frosted-type exterior blunts the light nicely. I have 3x3 posts and just need a small screw to install. I did wish the screws were not silver as they are black lights going on a black post, so silver screws will stand out to the eye. I will be buying black screws.

These things work I have bought two other sets that haven’t. If you have sun they light up every night on the second or third day of clouds they dim but usually not cloudy all day. They are not super bright but enough to guide your way up the steps. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought the 4-pack of these solar post cap lights to decorate my deck. I was impressed by the quality and brightness of these lights. They are easy to install and fit well on different sizes of posts. The solar panel on the top works well and charges the battery during the day. The light turns on automatically at dusk and off at dawn, which is very convenient. The light is bright enough to see the fence and the surrounding area, but not too bright to be blinding or annoying. The light is also waterproof and durable, and can withstand rain, snow, and frost. I have had these lights and they are still working great.
