I am 6'6" 215 .... beat the crap out of everything I own. I built these wheels up 2 years ago and and have yet to touch them. I would like to think it's my wheel building prowess ... but i think its just these rims are damn good!

NIce rims. Easy to build using DT Swiss super comp spokes and DT swiss brass nipples on Shimano Deore XT rear hub. First wheel I ever built and it went together nice. Still needing to tweak them a bit, but all in all a great rim.

I purchased this from Niagra Cycle at a good price. These are heavy duty rims, very well designed and make a sturdy wheel when done.But mine arrived in unacceptable condition. And this was clearly factory packaging, and not a return.There was a gouge more than 3 inches long down the side, that looked like a utility knife cut through a box too far when someone was unpacking a batch of these. It comes in a box, so it's hard to tell where that happened at.And there were various other nicks and scratches around the rim.To make matters worse, I never anticipated this, so I opened up the box right when i'd sat down with everything to lace the wheel up. So it was too late for me to return the rim.Next time I buy a rim, i'll look locally to avoid the chance of this happening again.
