1: Why do we want it? Adding sail shades to the yard.2: Unboxing: Comes in sturdy, compact box.3: Instructions: Included. Good.4: Install: Two minutes to fit the pole together. We used a rubber mallet.5: In Action: This is a strong pole that will hold up much better than wood poles over time. We are pouring concrete footings with j hook bolts for these to bolt onto.Pros: Solid base, solid pole, super easy to assemble with good hardware. Saving us hours of trying to do this with wood or DIY it with metal. Recommend putting the sail away during major gusts, storms, hurricanes.Cons: None.ProTip: Pre install j hooks for a newly poured concrete base.

My mom and stepdad have a u-shaped house with a deck in between. To install shade sails, we needed a mount point in the middle of the non-wall side of the deck. We installed this pole in concrete for stability and durability. I know they will get a lot more use from their deck now that they're protected from the sun.
