Setup was quick by using the included instructions. I especially appreciate the rust-proof coating on this NlkeWbly Sun Shade Sail 2 Pole which is 9 feet high. We drilled holes into the deck to add the base to the corner of the deck where we needed a tall post. A mid-grade sandpaper smoothed the edges of the pole sections so that they slid together tightly. The 3 vertical eyebolts that are evenly spaced going down from the top of the pole allows us to adjust the height of the sun shade. The top eyebolt is at just the right height for the sun shade while the middle eyebolt hods a waterproof shade that we can add and remove as needed on rainy days, leaving the bottom bolt at just the right height to add a string of outdoor lights.

“Sun Shade Sail Pole 9Ft Outdoor Sunshade Sail Post Support Awning Canopy Heavy Duty Metal Pole Kit for Outside Patio Garden Deck Playground Backyard (8.9FT Rectangular Chassis, 1)”I ordered this pole so that I could install it in our backyard and mount a solar street light on it.When the pole was first delivered, I couldn’t help but notice how heavy the box was. Then, when I open the box, I could see and feel how heavy duty the pole actually is.The assembly is very easy - just fit the sections into each other. Be sure to follow the directions, and use a block of wood to protect the ends of the pole sections so you can whack the connections together tightly with a hammer. Some other poles I have use plastic caps to cover the very tops of the poles so rain doesn’t get inside. Those plastic caps eventually weather and crack. This pole is much nicer, as the metal opening at the end of the top section is seamlessly fused closed at the factory. Also, just follow the simple directions for mounting the base of the pole. I mounted mine to a concrete slab, and it’s a rock solid installation. It really helps that the base is welded onto the bottom pole so that it’s all one solid piece, which is much sturdier than poles that you have to use fasteners (bolts) to attach the pole to the base.Otherwise, if you follow the included simple directions, you won’t have any problems.Obviously, since the pole is so new, I can’t provide any information as to its longevity, and how well it handles the elements without any rust forming, but it does come nicely finished. If I encounter any problems, I’ll be sure to update this review.

I ordered this NlkeWbly Sun Shade Sail 2 Pole 9Ft Outdoor Sunshade Sail Post Support Awning Canopy poles to replace a couple that had rusted. They are very sturdy, much more durable than the ones I just took down. Instructions are included. In taking those down, I found I am going to have to replace one of my concrete pads which I can’t do until the weather warms up a little more. I have included some pictures of the pipes and will put a finished product on here as soon as I can. I do recommend these and would order them again.

1: Why do we want it? Putting in a sail shade.2: Unboxing: Comes in a compact box.3: Instructions: Included.4: Install: Slide poles together, tap into place with a mallet then mount to a good surface.5: In Action: This is a strong pole that is much better than our wood poles. Some of the entries seem to make it look like you get 2 poles. These are to the best of our understanding just one pole per box at the listed price.Pros: 1-2-3 put together then install in your substrate. Slim profile.Cons: Only come in black but you can paint it.
