Has a decently long visor to keep the Sun off your forehead and ears and I love the back that hangs down your neck to keep the sun off as well. Much better than the Wicker hats that I would go through and would get destroyed every year when working , this thing is going to last forever . Great company that makes all types of versatile gear.

My wifes go to shade provider in and out of the water. We keep this hat in a bag in our car, until she needs it.

Full Coverage; sweat band, well designed. Good chin strap, adjustable.I buy the L and cinch it up when I need to but have more room (less hat hair) and cooler when I want.

I have to be very careful in the sun due to a medical condition. I also unfortunately have a very small head. So finding a hat to provide protection from the sun that actually fits my head is extremely difficult. I have ,literally ,a pile of expensive sun hats which I've tried to wear, only to find them simply too large. The adjustment on this hat really works well, and I can actually get it small enough to fit my head. It looks nice , and provides really good protection. The drape is the longest I've seen. It can be pulled up and attached with velcro if you need it shorter, as when you're in the water. So if you need good protection from the sun ,this is a really good hat. The price is decent, too,as I have paid a lot more for other hats that just ended up in the reject pile.

Hat came slightly dented in the brim as it was packed in soft plastic. Pls relook the packaging. I dont understand how an expensive hat like this sd be so shoddily packed.

I had already owned a Sunday Afternoon hat, which I got at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show, more than five years ago. I knew I had found something special. Recently, my son started wearing it due to a new outdoor job, so I ordered a new one for myself. This hat is worth every penny. Quality construction, lightweight, great coverage area around ears, face and neck, breathable, easily stored, great fitment, safety string for those fast boat rides. honestly, I never thought I’d write a review about a hat, but the reason I’m doing it, is because of the irrevocable quality and design process behind this hat. Measure your head, order the right size. It is also somewhat adjustable, so it fits as tight or as lose as your want. Oh, I ended up getting one for my wife, also, and she loved it. Well worth it, I highly recommend it!

This hat is a super and lovely colour, but buyer beware. I ordered 2 different Sunday afternoons hats through Amazon LCC global and both were needlessly folded through the brim, which has ruined the hat for wearing. This could easily have been avoided, the packaging was large enough not to require this and by rotating the folding though 90 degrees the brim could have been left flat. I am fuming. Far too much palaver to return to the USA, fingers burned never again.

Very thoughtful design - effective sun protection, neutral colure to keep cool under hot sun, light and comfortable to wear, stay put in a windy condition and looks good too! While walking on the beach wearing this hat, I was often asked where they could buy this hat! Hope this product will not be discontinued.

I just received the hat. Its looks exactly as I was expecting and has extremely good sun protection. Your entire face and neck is well protected from the sun. Its lightweight, soft and breathable. I have worn other sun hats before, and this one is a winner as it doesn't look nearly as dorky as other sun hats I have worn before. It can be collapsed easily and would be good for packing for traveling. Sunday Afternoons Adventure is good hat with a cheaper price compared to the other brand name sun hats at almost twice the cost. Its looks, feels, and wears like a good quality hat, but I will know for sure after a few months of daily use. Most importantly, it provides very good sun protection to your face and neck. I am happy with this purchase.
