Very strong magnet, durable socket.I'm a professional mechanic, and I use this with a universal joint and 5 foot extension to reach a terribly placed bolt behind an engine.I also found it to be perfect for removing torque converter bolts.

This worked great.I was installing a transmission,and used this magnetic socket when installing the flywheel nuts. Using a non magnetic socket meant taking a chance that a nut could fall off and drop into the bell housing ,that would require pulling the transmission back to search for the Lost nut. Worked nice. The only issue I found was that the nut didn't sit squarely in the socket. I put a nut into the socket and gave it a tap with a mallet, that realigned everything and it was fine after that. Thinking of getting a few more of these in the sizes I use most.Never know when you'll need them.Thank you

Not a real sunex brand socket, the magnet fell out and I had to glue it back in. But it does work.

I use this to take out torque converter bolts at work so there’s no risk of them falling into the engine bay abyss. Total life and time saver. Works great!

I wanted a socket with a magnet so when I removed by car's oil drain plug using a ratchet wrench it would not fall down into the drain pan. This socket is perfect and the magnet is strong.
