I have a few Sunnex tools already, and their quality is always on point. For some unknown mystical reason, 10m and 12m sockets always seem to sprout legs and disappear.I bought this purely for backup. It's always a good idea to at least have two or three of the 10s and 12s around.It's truly a mystery. It's not due to the size, because I have metric 8 sockets and lower that I've had for 10+ years. Something about the 10 and 12 mm sockets; they WILL DISAPPEAR!!! I don't even know how, but it happens.It used to bother me a bit, and I'd get frustrated. Now I just laugh about it. I've probably lost at least FIFTEEN of these little guys over the years!! Probably half of them still running on the road, stuck on bolts where I hammered them on and forgot about it.I don't care how tidy you keep things, or how clean your shop is. You -will- have trouble keeping track of these sockets no matter what. So just go ahead and buy a couple extra to save yourself from the frustration.

The socket tapers down to the opening for the nut, it isn't stepped as shown in the picture. This could be an issue in tight spaces.I bought it for For rear driveshaft yoke bolts, and had to jack up the car and make sure there was enough clearance for it. There is, but I shouldn't have had to do that.

I was impressed by the heavy duty, well made, and overall high quality of this socket. Infact I would like to have an entire set of these in my toolbox! It's always nice when a product is better than expected, and this socket is a good example of exactly that.

After splitting more than one 3/8" chrome socket trying to get these off, and after trying to hunt down a reasonably price version of this locally, I finally took the plunge and just ordered this.It arrived and I put it to work almost immediatly. It was sort of anticlimactic how easily the bolts zipped right out after all of the work and chrome-socket carnage and destruction I suffered before. If you need to remove these 12pt bolts on Ford driveline parts, do yourself a a favor and just get this, like now.

12 point impacts are hard to find but this did the job perfectly removing the driveshaft bolts from the differential yoke on a 92 Ranger :) Happy Camper!

This socket works very well, and I primarily use it for Ford driveshafts. It is half-inch drive and takes regular impact use well. I mostly use it with my Milwaukee M18 impact gun.
