No problems fitting this onto my Wheelmaster 8 speed freehub. The evenly spaced gear ratio's are just what I was looking for.

This cassette was specified on my GT hardtail. Pros include wide range, decent weight, and good value (if you're buying aftermarket). Only problem was that the 13t cog had a large skip going under loads - couldn't stand on it or even pedal hard in the saddle. Presumed at first I just didn't have the mech adjusted quite right, and tried everything in my power to fix it. It wasn't the mech. Accidentally discovered the real root of my problem when I swapped this cassette out for a Shimano-made replacement. Given as nobody else has reported this same problem, I most likely just got one with a minor defect, but the number of different issues reported by others with this product gives me pause. Additionally, I found it less definite on upshifts than the Shimano cassette I ultimately replaced it with, but it never had any serious issues in that regard - just a bit of hesitation.

Replaced existing sunrace cassette from 11-28 to 11-34 with this, i liked the price, but figured once it goes I might upgrade the entire groupset, who knows. The cassette shifts smoothly and felt solid when installing.

Delivery was quick and on time. I installed it on a repair for a friend it worked as good as the original, maybe a little better. I havehad no complaints from him since the repair. Very good price savings.

The nickel plating looks great on my 1977 touring bike. It has sensible gearing range and jumps between the cogs.A basic KMC chain shifts really nicely through the range with the original Suntour Cyclone GT derailleur with modern pulleys in friction.

This is an 8 speed cassette, if you need 9, go somewhere else. Gear range is good. Chain stays on. Wheels turn. Bike goes. Pretty straight forward. Decent cassette for the price. Ride hard.

I installed this on a new rear wheel I purchased for my Sun EZ-1 Lite recumbent bike. I was warned against Sunrace products but every other 8-speed cassette I could find either didn't have the range I wanted (11-34) or had an 8-tooth or larger jump between the largest and second-largest sprockets. This cassette is 11-13-15-18-21-24-28-34 which is "only" a 6-tooth jump, still large but in practice much, much better than the 8 or more found on "megarange" cassettes.I'm not racing and I use very low gears while spinning up hills to protect my knees so if this cassette tends to break under extreme loads I'm not likely to experience that problem. Therefore if Sunrace really is a low-quality brand best avoided, well, I can live with that for this bike. So far I'm very happy with this cassette and consider it a big upgrade over the supposedly higher-quality cassette it replaced because shifting between 1st and 2nd gears while putting a load on the drivetrain climbing a hill is so much better with the 6-tooth gap compared to the 8-tooth gap I had been dealing with.5 stars because it's exactly what I wanted, looks great, and functions perfectly. I'll be sure to return and edit this review and knock off a star or four if the cassette breaks or causes problems or wears faster than it should.Note to potential purchasers: Remember to replace your chain if you replace your cassette unless your chain has very few miles on it! You might want to replace your crankset's chainrings, too.
