This will be great as the temps start to rise. The front shade fits well and was easy to install. However the rear seems to block some visibility out the window so I don’t think we’ll use it while driving. The side window shades are too large to fit so pretty much useless.

My first Tesla was a 2019 Model 3, and one of my first accessories was a set of sun shades for the glass roof. During the chilly winter months, gazing up through the roof (when safe) was an incredible experience. However, during the scorching summer months, the car would heat up significantly. I had purchased similar sun shades that proved instrumental in keeping the interior cool and enhancing the efficiency of my electric vehicle.Now, I own a Tesla 2024 Model Y, which boasts the same captivating glass roof. I relish the opportunity to look up (when safe) at the stars. However, I am aware that warmer weather is approaching, so I decided to purchase the affordable CAMXTYOOL Sunshade. They offer both Model 3 and Model Y versions.Let’s delve into the pros and cons of this sunshade:Pros:Snug Fit and Color Match:The shade panels fit snugly onto the glass roof and seamlessly blend in with the interior color. It’s almost impossible to tell that they’re not factory-installed.Removable Reflector Cloth:The shade comes with a separate reflector cloth that attaches to the top layer using Velcro-like tabs. This feature allows you to remove the reflector in the winter, but I personally prefer to keep it on year-round for optimal performance.Cons:Inadequate Installation Instructions:The installation process was a bit challenging, as the package lacked clear instructions. There were three different types of clips, and I had to experiment with their placement to ensure a proper fit. A simple instruction sheet or even a short demonstration video would have greatly simplified the process.Incomplete Kit:The kit included two small side window panels that did not match any of the existing windows. Additionally, there were only two suction cup hangers, which I assumed were meant for these side panel shades. This oversight didn’t significantly impact the overall functionality, but it did add to the frustration of trying to figure out where to attach the side panels and how to use the limited hangers.Conclusion:If the kit had come with comprehensive instructions and left out the unnecessary side panels, I would have given this sunshade a perfect score.
