Word of note: verify your gearbox. Look for the same on the side of the box. You may have to wire brush it to find it. I did not see it under all the grime. I ordered the kit that my truck came factory with. I have a 96 Ram 1500, 4x4.Unfortunately I ordered the 2 seperate kits, the ones for the sector shaft and the pitman arm prior to teardown. I opened the kits not realizing that I had a Saginaw box. My box had been changed by someone previously.I did not install the sector shift kit as the seals were not correct sive.

Rock auto and amazon both stated this is the input seal kit needed for my 06 Silverado 1500 crew cab 4x4. The shaft seal fit perfect, but the o-ring is not the correct size for the input seal housing. The correct seal can be found in the sunsong full rebuild kit, part # 8401429. Thankfully I also purchased that kit and had both on hand. If your PS pump is whining, check the seals before you replace the pump. Bad seals will let air in which causes the pump to whine.
