It takes a little longer than other waffle irons i have had to cook the waffles. I cook it for 5 - 6 minutes. My towns altitude is 5600 feet.

I purchased this item as a Christmas gift specifically for the waffle iron aspect. However when it was opened on Christmas I found that it had 2 sets of Metal parts for making Sandwitches and no scent of metal Metal parts for making sandwiches and no scent of metal parts for making the waffles. Since it was purchased on October 1, it was too late to do a refund or return. What a complete waste of money explain explanation

It doesn't toast enough for me unless you do it twice and have a cheese fiasco. It did come right off the plate.I don't really like the clips and can see them breaking if your not gentle to them.It's ok
