The release forks did not fit my MC4. Didn t know MC4’s were not standard dimensions.

Used these to service name brand solar panels on my cargo trailers. The fit on the connectors is a little too loose and you have to be careful they don't damage the connectors (round-out/slip). Must exercise care during use. OK value.

Southern Californian sun was 110 outside, I tried to use plastic disconnects for my panels, and they were so hot just from leaving them in the sun for a few minutes that’s the tines just warped rather than taking apart the plugs. These worked much better. Only problem is now they are searing hot when in use. The fit in finish is pretty much out of the cast or press the big edges knocked off so it’s ugly but they work fine. I’d buy again

If you regularly disassemble MC4 connectors, getting this toolset is a must. It is a cheap, stainless steel kit that will survive the elements and last you a long time. I have a portable solar array using multiple panels that regularly relies on me to assemble and disassemble MC4 connections, and having these metal wrenches has been a godsend - especially when it gets cold out and trying to pinch the MC4 connectors by hand becomes twice as hard.I absolutely recommend this. If you're considering these, just buy them - they won't flex like plastic and they'll last you a long time.

Very good wrenches for mc4 connectors. Very sturdy being made from metal instead of plastic. Will not fit every mc4 connector but the ones it does fit it works great. It is not the sellers nor fault of the product, it's just they need standard dementions so every mc4 that is made is the same exact size. Therefore, I'm not deducting any stars because the product works exactly as intended.
