Unfortunately I broke this item the first day out. Waste of money for me but I have had similar items in the past like this work just fine. Not sure if it was defective or if my mini bike just made too much power but this item didn't last a single day for me.. spun the inner shaft inside the outer housing, spider gear is twisted. Overall a $100 loss.. Very unhappy to have wasted money but a lesson learned.

For context: I have a customized Coleman CT200U-EX minibike. Performance mods: Motor-swap Predator 224 max, governor deleted, custom exhaust header, matched intake, VM22 carb, thin (.001) metal head gasket, 22lb valve springs, billet flywheel, Comet CVT. Cam and rod are stock. Unloaded, this engine will spin 8k RPM+, but with the stock rod, I really don't want to exceed 6k for long. With the Comet CVT the engine never exceeds 5500 RPM and only for about a second. It almost immediately "shifts" and settles into a max RPM of around 4500 RPM at 50 MPH.My assumption was that by swapping to this style of drive pulley, I would be able to keep a higher RPM and achieve higher speeds without sacrificing low-end performance. I do not want to increase the speed by changing the sprockets because I ride trails and fairly steep hills. Plus, I like being able to pull wheelies at will :)Installation was simple and the build quality seemed good, but ultimately it actually reduced my performance. This driver does not contract as far as the Comet clone, so while it did increase the RPMs (peak 6500, WOT cruise 6000), my top speed actually decreased to approximately 46 MPH and the mid-range felt softer, though that's just a seat-of-the-pants measurement.I don't think this is a bad product. I think it's sweet-spot might be if you have a heavier machine, like a go-kart and find that your Comet style driver is slipping, this might fix you up. But in my application, it didn't work out and I'll be returning it.

If you have removed your governor, you need this! So much better than the the driver that comes with the $50-$60 30 series cvt. I’m running the predator ghost on my trail master MB200x and it’s a totally different unit. No more clanking at idle. Super smooth operation and engagement!! I put it on my other mini bike that doesn’t have the governor removed and it didn’t want to properly open for top speed. 3200 rpm’s just isn’t enough for this driver. The ghost has a 6200 rpm electronic governor so I’m not sure what this bad boy will do around 7500 rpm’s, but my goodness. Night and day difference. I’ll be removing the governor on my other one and buying another one of these for sure. GET IT!!

I have ordered several of the super 30 clutches from Kart supply. I was shipped a faulty clutch that was not engaging and I couldn’t get a belt on it. It was like the spring was broken. I returned it to the company and they tried to refund me only four dollars and some change when I made contact with the company they told me that they wouldn’t accept you clutch back however, the clutch was not used. I installed it on my minibike and drove it around my yard less than, 50 feet when I realized it was damaged prior to installing The company accused me of sending a different clutch back to him, and said he would not refund me. Unless I sent the original clutch back. It all seemed very fishy to me. I probably would push my business towards another company that stands behind the quality of their product and does not try to rip their customers off.

I haven't tried the jugger nut for comparison. But this replica works great. Have have a large old school offroad go-kart (Honda fl250). That I put a predator 212 on and the issue I was have with a regular pully was that was that go-kart was too heavy and wich would cause some belt slippage and I was just chew up belt. But the pully grabs freaking excellent and I'm not destroyed my belts
