This high strength injection molded nylon SUPGrip handle was designed specifically for Stand Up Paddleboards in Hawaii by Robert Stehlik. US Patent No. 9120218, the SUPGrip handle comes standard in all production Blue Planet SUP and SUP Foil boards and is the preferred handle for custom SUP boards.

I had my local ding guy install this and this grip makes a big difference. It makes carrying the board much easier compared to the old futures (2013) hand grip I had. Massive difference and worth the upgrade.

The Blue Planet SUP handle is by far, the best that I have tried. Well thought out design, this is a strong and comfortable grip. It carries right or left handed with the addition of a center support that also acts as an upward lift grip. Two features that the others don't offer: it is "oversized" for those who wear neoprene gloves and the center support allows for a bike style security cable to slip thru for thief protection. Like other handles, professional installation may be required, unless you are adept with the use of a router, epoxy adhesive, and fiberglass cloth.

Great handle system that makes carrying the board easier then the other designs. Ended up using the vent plug and purchased the plug on amazon separately. The threads in this plug are 12mm x 1.25, not the standard 1.5 thread as used in most SUPs.

the blue planet grip change my experience in paddle boarding, I have a 13 feet super wide super heavy paddle board, wich was a nightmare to drag to the beach and later to the apartment, needed 2 people in order to carry the paddle, went to a local shapper and installed the box, now is another story, super easy to carry the paddle

Clever and practical design that surpasses the carrying handle in many boards. I had a top name brand board's handle replaced with this one and it is SO much better. Makes a difference when having to grab board quickly or just transporting it.

I purchased this to install into a stich and glue stand up paddleboard. I like the product itself and I believe it will work as intended but the product quality is poor. The handle has a glued on rubber pad where you grip it, but mine had excess glue all over which turned the plastic white. In addition the handle is fabricated in two pieces then glued together. My handle had a thick glue all over the bottom of the top flange. I think this will make it harder to install because I will have to sand down the wood where there is the excess glue. If you charge a premium price give me a premium product. You can get similar products for a third of the price.

I Installed this in a neighbors SUP, he couldn't get a good grip with original finger grip slot. Which made it herd to carry on the boardwalk. With the new BP SUP grip he can easily carry the board without fatigue for long distances. Great product.

This grip makes a HUGE difference, once installed in your SUP. It makes the carry so much easier, especially after a long paddle or intense surf session when your arms are like jello because you refused to paddle in.The most important thing you need to know is that you need a pro to install it, or a plunge router and some experience working with resins or epoxy. I attached a couple photos of how I installed mine in a Surftech Gerry Lopez Big Darling.In the end, it was totally worth the effort and my SUP had new life breathed into it.
