I bought this kit to learn the basics of sushi making along with my 13 year old grandson. We both love sushi. This kit was very easy to use -- perfect for a grandma and teenager without experience. We tried different ingredients and found combinations that we liked. Definitely need to use stickier rice, but the bazooka tool worked as described. We had fun making memories. There is a tip that says to place clear plastic wrap over the bamboo mats before using them. We did not, and it made it difficult to clean the rice from between the bamboo sticks. So, I would recommend the plastic wrap which we will be doing next time. It took a couple of times of practice, but even our mistakes tasted really good.

Let me start by saying that the Sushi Making Kit Bazooka Sushi Maker Kit and Bamboo Sushi Kit are a total game-changer for sushi novices like me! I may not have the skills of a sushi master (yet), but with the help of these kits and a few instructional videos, I managed to roll out some pretty decent sushi rolls. Okay, maybe they weren't Instagram-worthy, but they were definitely edible! The "beginner-friendly" label is spot-on—I appreciated the simple instructions and user-friendly design of the bazooka sushi maker and bamboo kit. Plus, the satisfaction of creating my own sushi from scratch was priceless. Sure, my rolls weren't perfect circles, and my rice-to-filling ratio may have been a bit off, but hey, practice makes perfect, right? If you're like me and want to dip your toes (or should I say, roll your sushi) into the world of homemade sushi, these kits are the way to go. Just don't expect perfection on the first try—embracing the imperfections is all part of the fun! 🍣😂

I bought this for my daughter and i to make sushi at home. We were successful on our first try! Made some boring sushi the first time, lol. But the more daring we get, hopefully the better it will taste. Either way, the instructions are clear and you'd have to be a dummy not to be able to make sushi rolls with this kit.

Works good but a lil on the cheap side. Make sure you have the tube wet with water before adding the rice
