Anyone who has owned enough keyboards in their lives will know the value if a good sustain pedal and the pain of being surprised by a pedal with the wrong polarity thus reversing the hold/release function of the sustain. This pedal by CUCNEXT addresses both of those areas perfectly by being a full size pedal that is light, responds smoothly, and includes a switch to ensure that you can easily get the right polarity without hunting through menus on a keyboard.The build quality is very good with a hard plastic body molding, a reinforced pedal switch, and a good quality cable. The pedal is handled by a standard spring action that moves with your foot and both hold/release of the sustain is smooth and quick to respond. It works great with my Novation keyboard running any VST whether it be a synth or piano; it all feels very natural.I haven't had to use the polarity switch yet but I'm glad to know I have it there. Moving between keyboards (either by borrowing or renting one) I have had issues in the past where I had to sidestep using a sustain pedal because the pedal I had reversed the hold/release function. This is such an easy add-on and to include it in such a low-cost pedal is really above and beyond what you'll get from most name brands.If you're looking for a low-cost, dependable, good quality sustain pedal that will work in any situation, this is really all you need. Definitely worth picking up as your next pedal.

So far I have used this on MIDIs, Electric Pianos and Synths. It is a good size and comfortable to use with no unwanted noise or interference's. The Sustain holds well. It is made from durable materials, but we will see how long the chrome finish on the pedal lasts. So far, I have not found a floor surface that it slides around on. It stays put pretty well. I can recommend this product, especially at this price point. Great value.
