I don't know how SVBony does it. They now offer a wide range of amateur astronomy products at incredibly low prices. I've purchased both eyepieces and diagonals. All have exceeded my expectations. The 10mm flat field eyepiece displays a wide angle flat field, better than expected eye relief, and no annoying "kidney bean" effect. That means if you reye is slightly off center, the image doesn't blank out. This eyepiece is a quality product that is ideal for beginners as well as experienced observers.

So I’ve only been using a 10mm plossl, as I’m new to this, and had no idea a 10mm could be this easy and comfortable to look through! Not to mention the view is outstanding! Beats the sv136 18mm I have that is a copy of the W.O. Swan in every category. It’s my understanding this is the same ultra flat field offered by the big names, just 30% less because svbony is printed on the side. What a deal!

This is the same eyepiece as the more expensive APM Ultra Flat Field and Orion Ultra Flat Field.It's a solidly made eyepiece with good internal blackening and baffling to control stray light. Eye relief is comfortable, and glasses can be worn when looking through it provided the eye guard is folded down.The stated apparent field of 60 degrees seems a little exaggerated. It seems closer to 57-58 degrees.Optically it is very good in longer focal ratio telescopes. It also works well in short focal ratio reflectors with a coma corrector. Without a coma corrector, however, performance degrades substantially.This eyepiece is NOT recommended for typical F/5 reflectors such as the Heritage 130p, Heritage 150p, Zhumell Z130, AstroMaster 130, StarSense Explorer 130DX, AWB OneSky, Bresser Messier 130/650, or any similar 5" or 6" F/5 reflector. The eyepiece STRONGLY exaggerates the coma present in the short focal ratio telescope and is considerably worse than other ~60 degree offerings.Longer focal ratio telescopes are ideal for this eyepiece.

I use with a coma corrector so YMMV. isn't tack sharp but performs decently in my smaller scopes. The ad said it had 15mm exit pupil but it felt more like 13 and I had to take off my glasses to see most of the field. The eyepiece also encourages a close eyeball by having some amount of blacking out if too far away. This is an excellent eyepiece for outreach.

I think this svbony is the same 10mm eyepiece sold by other manufacturers with a few minor changes. If I am correct, this eyepiece has the same quality and flat crystal clear view for much less money. It is also really comfortable.Updated: Photos taken with a cell phone and retouched with the same photo app. To the eye it looks perfect.
