I own a Starrett combination square for woodworking and it is so much better made but I wanted a cheaper one for the garage and this combination square does the job very well. It's accurate but a bit lightweight. A touchup with a sharpening stone took off the slight manufacturing burrs on the edges of the rule and improved the feel. I'm an admitted tool nut and enjoy working with fine tools but most people would probably give this combination square five stars. Good value for the money.

Combo square is nicer than my 50 year old Stanley. Love that I can read the numbers which are boldly stamped and painted on both squares.

Really enjoyed this set, combo square sharp rule, slid locks firmly would have liked it if the slide didn’t wobble when it wasn’t tightened down, but it’s fine, solid aluminum speed square will enjoy this thing till I die

Both the rafter square/speed square and the combination square were perfectly square.The weight of both of them feel of quality. The book that comes with it helps those with toys and tricks making the tools easier to use.

The combination and speed squares are of good quality and as advertised. As a general DIY'r, the included book on roofing construction is of no use, but will keep for reference (not sure why).
