The rest of the reviews said it ran small and so I bought 18 months even though he's 12 months and fit perfectly. However, I will say he wears 9 months clothes in general so if you have a big baby, you may want to go two sizes up. I loved the style, but it is cheaply made. The buttons to fasten broke when I went to try it on him. I ordered a replacement and the same thing happened. But I couldn't return it because I needed it ASAP. So I had to get it fixed in order for it to fasten for the day of. It has no stretch but that didn't matter to me because it fit him good. You do need to put a onsie under it so that the diaper design doesn't show. Other than the clasp being bad, I loved the outfit.

We just got this today and immediately tried it on my grandson. It is a smidge too big but should fit him perfectly for his end of May baptism. It is adorable and very well made! My grandson is 2 1/2 months old and weighs approximately 13.5 pounds so we ordered the 12-18 months. He is big for his age and wears 3-6 months clothes right now, but had we ordered the 6-9 it would have been way too small. My advice is to order it in at least a size up and order it early so if it doesn't fit you can exchange it.

I wanted a lightweight cotton casual outfit for our son's summer christening. After searching the Internet extensively and reading a lot of reviews, I selected this outfit. My son was just going on 5 months and pushing 20 lbs so I was nervous about ordering the right size. I listened to many of the other reviewer's and decided to order a larger size. I got the 12-18 month size. It fit perfectly, so much so, that I decided not to wash it for fear of shrinkage. I put a cotton short sleeved onesie on him under the outfit and he seemed fine temperature wise. I didn't care for the hat that came with the outfit, though, so we didn't put it on him. This is a no frills outfit and very lightweight that is good for the warmer months. It probably would be too thin if it is cooler outside. The quality was not great, but decent and what you'd expect for the price. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

I have never reviewed a product on Amazon, but after the great success with this romper, I felt compelled to write about it. With only a week left to our son's baptism, I ordered the romper hoping it would come in time. Not only did it arrive in two days, it also fit perfectly. We got size 12-18 months for our son who is 14 months old, weighs 20.5lb and is 31 inches tall. The fabric is of great quality, not thin or see-through. The embroidery is detailed and beautiful. I was a little worried that it might look too puffy and girly, but it was cut just right. We received so many complements today at church, on the street and the restaurant. I am thoroughly delighted with this romper and would definitely recommend it.

This outfit was perfect for my one-year-old's baptism. I ordered the 12-18 month size and it fit perfect! My son is long, but thin (29" and 20 lbs) and I was concerned that it might look too wide on him, but it was just right! My one-year-old son is past the "baby" look, more of a toddler these days and usually wears little boy outfits (not large baby outfits) so I was wanted to be sure his baptism outfit be appropraite for his regular style and not be too baby-ish. I also did not want it to be too formal with the jacket & tie style. This one fit the bill. I compared several website and looked at hundreds of outfits before I committed to this one. So many are very cute, but I just LOVED the stiching detail across the chest on this one and once I saw this one no other one compared - sweet but not feminine like so many others I found.Before ordering I had questions regarding the outfit and received 2 separate responses directly from christeningday.com which answered my question completely. It arrived when promised and was perfect for the summer day event - not too warm and just as precious as the picture promised.I would HIGHLY reccommend this romper!!!

I loved this outfit, but the sizing is the problem. My son is 2 months and about 11 1/2 pounds. I'm not sure of his current height, and that is where the problem is. The XS (0-3 month) fit him perfect in the width of the outfit, but was about 1 inch too short in length. Then the S (3-6 month) fit him perfect in the length, but was too wide in the width. He looked like he was swimming in it. It is very cute, but the sizing is off. I would definitely recommend this outfit, as long as your baby is not right between sizes like mine. They do run small, so it is better to order a size up.

This outfit was perfect for my son's baptism! I was looking for an outfit that was 100% cotton that was not, what my husband dubbed, "disco-baby wear" or something that was too froo-froo. This outfit couldn't have been more perfect. The detail on the front was beautifully done - my son looked adorable!My son is a small 6 month old and so he really fell in between the 3-6 and 6-12 month old sizes. I ordered both to see which was a better fit. The 3-6 month size fit perfectly and the 6-12 was large, but not so large that he was swimming in it. I ended up keeping the 6-12 month size, hoping to be able to use it again for Easter.The only thing that I would warn you is that this outfit does require ironing - which is not so easy for such a small garment. I was not able to get it "perfect" but that is OK with me - if you are someone who needs to have every single crinkle out, this is not for you. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this outfit. Our little boy looked precious on his special day.
