Be very careful about the dimensions. It is very large and rather heavy. So washing by hand has to be done very carefully. I find myself using these almost every day. I don't like to dish wash because of the residue left behind and impregnating plastics, but I suspect this would be rather difficult to safely get into the dishwasher. The finish and shape and rounded edge are awesome. I love it. Just be sure you want something this large - whether for a serving platter or a dinner plate (like I use it for).
