Our horse loves the taste, we like that she can't chew it up as some of the other flavored bits. But the finish on the mouth piece started wearing off after a dew days, still a good usable bit

My horse was used to a bitless bridle but I decided to switch to a bit. My horse was not happy with any of the bits I tried. This one, being 2 pieces especially aggravated him. I feel it was more the design than the bit itself. He did enjoy the copper but didn't seem to like the pressure. I switched to a 3-piece with a center copper barrel which is more acceptable to him. There is nothing wrong with this bit; my horse just wasn't happy with it.

The bit was just as described. It is well made and the horse seems comfortable with it. Very simple snaffle bit.
