I was so excited to use these but as soon as I removed the plastic, all of the letters fell out in pieces. Each letter broke into multiple pieces. Very disappointed!!!!

One letter broke immediately. This did not work on buttercream. I had to spray each letter with oil so it wouldn’t pull out chunks of frosting. (Even this method took forever to get an acceptable print).) And it still wasn’t a crisp finish. Storage of letters is a mess. Even if I did get all of the puzzle pieces back together I’d have to tape them in place. None of this was easy and I think I may have been better off freehanding it when the end result was so messy. I’m giving 2 stars instead of one because maybe it works well on fondant or would have worked better with powdered sugar instead of oil so it wouldn’t stick. The letters are pretty but for the cost-it wasn’t at all worth it. I felt like I’d researched how to use them but maybe I did it all wrong?

I'm in LOVE! This is the best thing I have purchased for cake decorating. If you want to get your moneys worth I would suggest this for people who make cakes regularly. It helps also if you have some small pointy tweeters to help remove the letters or some tacky fondant that will easily get them out. This is a great thing to use if your letter piping isnt that great. I suggest having a thin cake decorating paint brush. I didnt have a thin one so you can see where i got the gold dust on the sides and all over the fondant.

As you can verify in the photograph, the “a” was chipped when taking it out of its space. This is clearly a production defect since the border was not properly cut at that piece at the top. It is a shame because it is a good product, but all letters are necessary. I am hereby requesting you ship me a new one without charging it. Thank you for your attention.
