This small mouse seemed intriguing. Having had to use a trackpad on my computer for pretty involved cut and paste and positioning, it seemed like a simple way to make this easier. Add in presentation mode and it upped the ante.I downloaded the drivers, though since it is plug and play it will work without them. I did the download ostensibly to use the “tilt” functions that the mouse should have. Of course that is despondent on the application and it apparently does not work with browsers or pdf functions. Or I just can’t figure it out. This is a pretty pricey mouse replacement, so I hope to get the use out of it. It comes in a nice case and it’s charging solution is a small landing on a USB connector. This will of course only work if you have a standard size USB port on a device. Maybe it will work with C to USB connectors. I didn’t try. As my computer is overloaded with USB connections, all mine are on a C or USB to mixed connector that has spots for multiple USB connection as well as ports for SD cards, etc. Still charged okay connected to that.Initially using this mouse, I thought it was temperamental. Found out, I had not charged it long enough, so the mouse was dead when I tried to use it again. Once I gave it a good charge it kept it and picked up where I left off.I’ve connected this with my home PC and my work Mac and it seems to work well on both.I have not been able to get the tilt functions to work. Sadly with the pandemic, I don’t have an opportunity to present with this (though I have verified presentation mode works). All my meetings are currently via zoom.In summary, it works and nice to have a button, to push to get the right click stuff to work versus having to press a button extra when using a trackpad. Is it worth the extra cost? Only you can decide that.

Cons:The connection quickly times out and has to be reinstated with extra mouse clicks.Couldn’t get device switching to work properly. Needs a designated button.Air mouse was not easy to use, just switched to mouse mode instead.Tilt scrolling function frequently activated when unintended. When in case, takes up nearly as much packing space as a normal mouse.Pros:Scroll wheel was still useful (e.g., when walking at treadmill desk).

This is a great tiny mouse that works best if you think of it like holding a pencil. I found a lot to like about this device. Pros:- It's Small and extremely accurate- It comes in a great travel case- It's rechargeable via a magnet on the USB Receiver- The Green Scroll Wheel is actually easy to use- The range on works almost anywhere in a large meeting room- There is a presentation mode (with the tiny slider)- The learning curve to use it is relatively small (20min to be natural)Cons:- This is small (which is also a Pro)- You need to use it for 20 minutes for it to feel naturalI really haven't had a chance to try it with the gestures, but (honestly) I rarely use my PC Touch Screen Either. I'm more of a desktop users. This is great addition for anyone who has to pack light for presentations -- with only a single carry on. I can't imagine anyone making a better mouse (smaller, lighter, or more portable) with this size factor. The designers seem to have found the exact point of diminishing returns for a small pointing device. I have medium large hands, and it's no harder to use than a pen or pencil. For the first 10 minutes, I was thinking of it as a mouse. After about 15 minutes, I realized that merely thinking about it like a Pen Device made al the difference.I"m picky about my peripherals. I have a DasKeyboard with Cherry Red switches and blue baffles to reduce the key stroke. I'm on my 3rd Evoluent Vertical Mouse. I use a Wacom tablet, and I sit in a Herman Miller Aeron Chair. I work hard, and I like to have the best tools to support me. This Travel Mouse is another premium (though very niche) device that meets my exacting standards. This has officially replaced my Logitech M585 Multi-Device Wireless Bluetooth mouse as my travel mouse.

The trackpoint is the smallest mouse I have seen, and I have been through a few. Despite its' size it has a small trackball, of sorts, and a presentation pointer. It comes with a small zipped case for travel. and a magnetic charger. To be honest it takes a good deal of getting used to. I would not call it intuitive, especially if you have not used gestures with a mouse/ pointing device. It is not especially ergonomic either. There is a place to rest each finger but most ofd the work is done with the index finger. The mouse is a little tippy too, that is off balance, and a bit awkward to use as a traditional mouse, but flip it over to use as a pointer for presentations and manipulate it with gestures in the air. Having not used gestures before, there was a steep learning curve for me. 99% of the time I will be using it as a traditional mouse, and I am finding it not as good as several other travel mice, and considerably more expensive. The only reason I rated it 4 stars is because it offers presentation features as well, and is the smallest, and packs well. {None of my other travel mice have come with a fitted case, though I have been able to improvise when I travel with them..All in all it is better than a track pad, at least as one who has never ben especially comfortable with a track pad, but at this point I do not honestly know if I will be traveling with this or another travel mouse, when travel becomes safer and there is more of a reason to do it.
