In January 2024 we bought this life preserver for pool in Florida. In less than 12 months the rope lines have disintegrated to bits and pieces. Very disappointing. Will not buy again.

The foam is soft yet durable, making it a great dual-use item. While it’s not meant for serious rescues, it works perfectly as a decorative piece by the pool or hanging on a wall. The "life preserver" rope surrounding the ring is a nice touch that enhances its aesthetic and gives it an authentic look.The ring is lightweight, so it's easy to move around or even use for poolside games if you’re in the mood. I also appreciate how versatile it is—whether for decoration, for fun in the pool, or as a themed photo prop, it does the job.

This life ring is light weight so even children can throw it if necessary. It is durable and attractive hanging against the pool fence.

Our pool construction was recently completed and we wanted to have all the safety equipment ready. Have not had to use this and hope we never do but it gives a little peace of mind with the kids in the pool.

Been purchasing these for 25 years. The rope starts to deteriorate after about 3 yrs. Going to try spraying with weather protectant this time. Bought the Coast Guard approved rings.. They deteriorated also. These are great for the price.

While I only had this buoy for about 2 weeks, it is worth the purchase. We needed something for our pool for children just in case. The ring is not Intended to fit around the waist but act as a life saver to throw out in case of an emergency. I also purchased a durable water proof rope / created a belay from the deck. It is exactly what we needed!

I have had this for four years. Good for down by the dock or pool. Stays out in the full sun all summer and has no appreciable fading. Good UV protected materials used in constructing this.Still looks and functions great!
