Quality wood and craftsmanship, looks good and works great. Had to buy better quality anchors though, anchors that came with it were not very secure.

Easier to clean up after being used by little kids. The pieces are big enough that they cannot eat them but not too big that they cannot handle them.It looks better than the ones that are more colorful.Definitely glad to have gotten this 4 in a row for the house.

Several years ago, we bought a giant plastic 4-in-a- row game. It is huge, and we ended up putting it outside. This wooden set is really cool, because it's also big but it goes on a wall, so it's a space saver for a bigger version of 4-in-a-row game. This set works great in a game room, family room, or a play room. This would be a fun addition to an Airbnb. I would be hesitant to put it outside (like a patio), even in a covered area, because I feel like it would warp from moisture/sun damage, etc.Even though this is big, it's also an understated version of the game in a way because of the colors and look of the game. It will look good in a house where people don't want something bright and colorful- kidlike. It's almost a mix of art/home décor and the game. It is a quieter version of the game, because the pieces fall into the cloth pocket not on a table, the floor, etc.I like that they include the (cloth) pocket to catch the game pieces. The game (wooden part) is on the heavier side, so you need to put some care into mounting it on the wall. For the price, I think it could have been sanded better. I look at reviews and noticed varying opinions on the type of wood used for this product in this product's reviews- the product description says it's New Zealand Poplar. They also plant a tree for every purchased game, so that's cool!I look at reviews a lot when shopping. I hope this review helps!

Beautiful product! But, unfortunately, if renting keep in mind it needs sinkers. If you are able to spackle and paint over sinker insertions, perfect! But it was for a room we converted to a game room due to the wall paper and cannot damage. But would totally reconsider this if had the right room.

I love Connect 4 so I was happy to see a giant-sized board. It's pricey, but I was looking at it as a cross between wall art and a game so I could justify the price. $100 (more or less) for wall art isn't bad at all. Yes, this was a Vine item for me, but I still pay a good percent of the cost as taxes and I would be very tempted by this item even if it weren't on Vine. It's a great addition to a game room. This board is very well designed and easier to install than I feared it would be. They include sturdy mounting hardware and decent instructions. All the materials in this are good quality. I really like the board so I hated to mark it down, but the finish on it, especially at this price point, left something to be desired. It would be a 5-star item without question if the finish were smoother. As it is, it looks like there's a polyurethane coating on it, but the wood has soaked up most of the polyurethane, leaving a slightly rough surface. If I were to try to wipe dirt off of this with a paper towel, it would catch the fibers of the paper towel. When the weather's warm enough to do so, I plan to take this outside and spray a couple coats of polyurethane on it myself. The only other smoothness issue was that it doesn't seem that they sanded around all of the little viewports in the front because I did find some loose pieces of wood around several of the holes. I will say that the wood is very attractive with a beautiful grain. In a day where so many things are made with a plastic coating of wood grain, it's nice to see that this board is obviously made from real wood.PHOTOS1) Beautiful wood grain2) Streak in finish (dark on left, lighter on right), not visible from all angles but definitely caused by application of finish3) Out-of-focus (sorry, it was difficult to photograph) picture showing loose strands of wood around checker hole
